Be real and respectful
Participate authentically. Do not impersonate people or organizations, mislead others about your identity, coordinate deceptive activity, or harass, shame, threaten, or target people. Disagreement is welcome; dehumanization and abuse are not.
Protect people from harm
Do not post credible threats, promote violence, celebrate serious harm, encourage self-harm, exploit vulnerable people, or share instructions intended to facilitate dangerous or criminal acts. If someone is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services.
No hate or hateful conduct
Do not attack, demean, exclude, or promote hatred against people based on protected characteristics such as race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, caste, sex, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, or serious disease.
Keep sexual content safe
Sexual exploitation, non-consensual intimate imagery, sexual extortion, and content that sexualizes minors are prohibited. Never solicit sexual content from minors or share content that facilitates abuse. Other adult sexual content may be limited or removed based on context, visibility, and applicable law.
Protect privacy
Do not share another person's sensitive personal information without permission, including private contact details, financial information, government identifiers, login credentials, precise location, medical records, or intimate material.
Share content you have rights to
Respect copyright, trademarks, publicity rights, and other intellectual-property rights. Share original work or content you are authorized to use, and respond promptly to valid rights-holder concerns.
No scams, spam, or manipulation
Do not use Hooplo for fraud, phishing, malware, fake engagement, coordinated manipulation, repetitive spam, deceptive promotions, or schemes designed to steal money, credentials, or personal information.
Regulated and illegal goods
Do not use Hooplo to buy, sell, trade, or facilitate illegal drugs, weapons, counterfeit goods, stolen property, human exploitation, or other unlawful transactions. Content involving regulated goods may be restricted based on law and safety risk.
Sensitive and graphic content
Graphic violence and disturbing content may be removed, limited, or placed behind warnings. Context such as newsworthiness, education, documentation, or public interest may be considered, but content intended to shock, glorify abuse, or encourage harm is not permitted.
Reporting and enforcement
Use available reporting tools or email support@hooplo.com when content or conduct may violate these guidelines. Do not make knowingly false or abusive reports.
Hooplo may remove content, reduce distribution, restrict features, suspend or terminate accounts, preserve evidence, or notify authorities when appropriate. We consider context, severity, intent, risk, and account history. Attempts to evade enforcement may lead to additional action.
Guidelines evolve
These guidelines will evolve as the community and product grow. We may update them to respond to new behaviors, features, safety risks, and legal requirements. The effective date above shows the latest revision.
